Enter this ballot for a chance to win the opportunity to buy a bottle of Glenfiddich® Grand Yozakura 29-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky!

The essentials:
  • Open to residents of the UK (excluding NI) only.
  • You must be over the age of 18.
  • You can enter from 00:01 GMT on 28/03/2023 until 23:59 GMT on 04/04/2023.
  • Bottles available in the UK ballot: 24 x 70cl bottles of Glenfiddich® Grand Yozakura 29-Year-Old.
  • Purchase is necessary to claim bottle. Terms of purchase: Sales T&C
  • If you win, you will receive an email from us letting you know, and payment will be taken immediately upon your successful entry being drawn.
  • If you do not win, we will inform you and not take any payment from you.

1. Introduction

These are the rules to participate in our ballot (ballot) for the chance to buy one of 24 x 70cl Limited Edition bottles of Glenfiddich® Grand Yozakura 29-Year-Old (bottle).

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials connected to the ballot.

Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions.

By taking part in the ballot, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

2. Promoter

This promotion is being run by the Glenfiddich Global Brand Team at William Grant & Sons Brands Limited (08871077) (Promoter).

3. Eligibility

This ballot is only open to UK residents (excluding NI) aged 18 years old or over (at the date of entry) only, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their respective subsidiaries, other group companies or agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this ballot.

The Promoter may verify any details of the participants in the ballot and those participants in the ballot lucky enough to have been randomly selected in the ballot to receive an offer to purchase a bottle (winners).

Participants in the ballot confirm that if they are successfully selected by the Promoter, they are able and willing to complete the purchase of the bottle.

4. Limit on number of bottle purchases

There is a limit of one bottle purchase per household. Anyone trying to circumvent this rule will be disqualified from this ballot and any offer made to purchase a bottle will be void. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.

5. Ballot period

The ballot will run from 00:01 GMT on 28/03/2023 until 23:59 GMT on 04/04/2023.

Any entries received before the start date or after the closing date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.

6. How to enter the ballot

To enter the ballot, visit www.glenfiddich.com follow the instructions and enter your details on the entry form and click "submit".

Purchase is necessary to claim a bottle and you must provide valid payment card details to enter.

After the Ballot has been drawn, you will be notified by email if you have been successful or unsuccessful. If you are successful payment shall be taken immediately upon an entry being drawn and we will issue you with a dispatch notice once the product has been shipped in line with our Sales Terms and Conditions.

7. General rules on entry

Incomplete, incorrect, illegible, inaudible, misdirected, lost, damaged, late or otherwise deficient entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

Your entry will be deemed invalid and disqualified if it:
  • contains unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
  • includes the names or images of any individual without their express permission;
  • in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, causes any widespread or serious offence;
  • contains content deemed socially irresponsible including the ballot of excessive consumption of alcohol;
  • features or refers to children;
  • made by a participant using a false name; or
  • is made on someone else’s behalf.

If entry is through a website, you are required to follow any other specific instructions on the website.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. By using the website, you also agree to the website’s terms and conditions.

8. Bottle

There are 24 x bottles in total available for the entire UK ballot.

The price of the bottle is £1500

Winners may not transfer the right to buy a bottle to another person without the Promoter’s consent.

9. General rules on payments

Bottles must be paid for by successful entrants immediately upon the successful entries being drawn.

If the payment is declined or is not processed successfully for any reason, the Promotor reserves the right to re-attempt to process payment within 48 hours.

If the entrant is unable to complete the purchase within 48 hours, Promotor reserves the right to cancel the said entry and select another winner for the Ballot.

10. Winner selection

The Promoter’s selection of the winners is final. Winners will be selected at random.

All eligible entries will be entered into a draw. The winners will be selected via a randomised computer process on 05/04/2023. The winners will be the first 24 names drawn.

11. Winner notification

Winners will be contacted by email within at least 3-5 working days of the draw.

Payment for the bottle will be taken immediately upon the successful entry being drawn.

12. Publicity / name release

Winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this ballot and to allow the Promoter to publish their name and location in the prize winners list.

The winners’ full names and counties are available by sending a sending a self-addressed envelope to the Promoter within 3 months of the applicable closing date. Please mark the request “Glenfiddich® Grand Yozakura 29-Year-Old Ballot”.

Participants and winners may be required to participate in photo, recordings, video and / or filming sessions and to all allow the Promoter, without charge, to use these photos, recordings, videos and / or films in any media and in any manner it sees fit.

13. Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including, but not limited to, asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days).

The Promoter may:
  • refuse the sale of a bottle;
  • withdraw bottle entitlement;
  • refuse further participation in the ballot; and / or
  • disqualify the participant,

where there are reasonable grounds to believe the participant has broken these terms and conditions, won using fraudulent means or otherwise gained unfair advantage.

14. Copyright

All entries become the property of the Promoter, and none shall be returned.

If the ballot involves the submission of audio, video, text, images or other content, you must ensure your submission:
  • is not copied from a third party;
  • does not otherwise infringe a third party’s intellectual property rights;
  • does not feature any person (living or dead) without their permission; and
  • does not contain any defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, illegal or otherwise unsuitable materials.

You will retain any copyright which exists in your submission but, by entering, participants licence and grant the Promoter an exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable and sub-licensable right to use your content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.

Participants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use.

Participants warrant that the materials contain no third party materials, are their original works, have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any third party and they have full authority to grant these rights.

15. Sales Terms and Conditions

By entering the Ballot, you confirm that you have sufficient funds to buy the bottle if you are selected as a winner.

We will deduct payment from your account immediately if you are selected as a winner. If we are unable to process the payment or send the bottle to you for any reason, we will notify you.

Our acceptance of your offer to purchase the bottle will be confirmed when we notify you that the bottle has been dispatched from our shop in line with our Sales Terms and Conditions.

If there is any conflict between these Ballot Terms and Conditions and the Sales Terms and Conditions, the Ballot Terms and Conditions will apply and take precedence.

16. Tax liability

Any tax liability arising from receipt of the bottle will be the responsibility of the recipient.

17. Liability

If for any reason any aspect of this ballot is not capable of running as planned (including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this ballot), the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the ballot or invalidate any affected entries/claims.

If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation. In these circumstances, the Promoter may immediately terminate the ballot without any liability.

Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability shall be limited to the minimum allowable by law), the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this ballot or accepting or using the bottle.

18. Brand protection

Winners must not do anything which could, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, bring the Promoter or Promoter’s brands, including but not limited to Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky, into disrepute before, during or after this ballot.

19. General

If any of these clauses are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, then it shall be deleted from these terms and conditions. The remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. The Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

20. Data protection

The Promoter will use the personal details supplied by participants for the administration of the ballot, which may involve transferring that information to third parties involved in the administration of the ballot (e.g. the Promoter’s marketing agency) and, in the case of winners, the fulfilment of the sale and delivery of the bottle.

The personal details participants submit must be true and up-to-date.

The handling of this personal data will be in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be found. By participating in the ballot, you agree to this use of your personal data.

You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to dataprotection@wgrant.com.

If you are required to submit a third party’s personal data to enter the ballot, you must ensure that the person whose details you submit has given their consent for you to provide the Promoter with their personal data.
