‘Rare Measures’, in name and design, nods to the worlds of both fashion and luxury whisky. The custom-made bomber jacket features Ahluwalia’s iconic wave pattern and is inspired by the original map of the Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, where every single indulgent drop of whisky is made.
THE MAP IS PRINTED ON SATIN SILK AND SITS ON BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE BOMBER, CREATING A STRIKING VISUAL IMAGE WHEN OBSERVED FROM AFAR.
The jacket boasts a vibrant mix of orange, brown, navy, and green in varying hues, offset by dark navy merino lambswool for the sleeves. Combining traditional elements with contemporary ones, Glenfiddich Rare Measures by Ahluwalia presents a truly special blend of two pioneering luxury brands.
These unique jackets, which range from small to extra-large, were designed by award-winning luxury fashion label Ahluwalia. By utilising vintage, recycled, and sustainable fabrics, Ahluwalia creates pieces led by design but always made responsibly.
The label, founded in 2018 seamlessly blends elements from founder and Creative Director, Priya Ahluwalia's dual Indian-Nigerian heritage with her London roots.
