SHANGHAI SHINDIG ...

Thanks to the efforts of local quine, Michelle Myron the summer ceildihs have started once again in Dufftown.  Rotating between the British Legion and the Commercial Hotel these dances are popular with not just locals and visitors to Dufftown but are always a firm favourite with our artists each summer.

Joining in the first ceilidh of 2016 was Xixing Chen, the curator of Don Gallery who acts as our selection partner in Shanghai.  Xixing is no stranger to Glenfiddich with this being her third trip to the distillery. As well as steering the careers of many young and upcoming Chinese artists Xixing is an amazing cook so we were treated to a specially prepared feast which included her speciality … Fierce Cucumber and belly pork.
