Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1937

Glenfiddich

1937 RARE COLLECTION

COSSETING SMOOTHNESS, BURNT HEATHER, TREACLE, CEDAR, ROBUST OAK AND DRY BITTER CHOCOLATE
ABV 40%, 70CL

On the year of King George VI’s coronation, cask number
843 began its long journey. Nurtured by ten of the finest warehousemen and under the specialist care of generations
of Malt Masters, it was deemed one of the finest and oldest whiskies the world would taste.

After 64 years the angels left only 61 bottles of this precious whisky. Its strength, from decades of evaporation, should have been depleted. But it was not. Instead it had an incredible, innate and unrepeatable quality.

A huge aroma, a palate of many unfolding layers, and a patiently masterful finish awaited the highest bidders
at auction.

All are sold, but every now and then a bottle comes around.
