Jillian McDonald is a video and conceptual artist from Canada, currently living in Brooklyn. For her time at the distillery, Jillian plans to cast local residents and Glenfiddich craftspeople in the video, creating costumes and masks on location in response to the local landscape, legends, traditional highlands costume, and folklore - both real and imagined. The haunting remarkable romanticism of the landscape will figure prominently as the camera creeps across the valleys uncovering dales and knolls, fog, majestic views and, animals such as live deer and other woodland creatures.
