Since graduating from the Art Academy of Hangzhou, China in 2008, Yuan Yuan has quickly established himself as a genuine talent. His works bear witness to the rapid economic and social change taking place in China and with their cold tones and multi-layered brushstrokes lie somewhere between reality and illusion. Always inspired by the artist's own experiences, Yuan Yuan aims to bring this style to his work at the distillery in a series of works that combine ideas of history and time, with just a hint towards the collective memory that drives us all.
