“Most of my music derives directly from a sense of place, from natural physical environments - I need to find an inner peace to compose, and through this residency I feel privileged to be offered a period of relative tranquillity, in which I can soak up the light, smells and sounds of a beautiful part of Scotland. It is a unique opportunity, and one that I relish!”
