Glenfiddich
VINTAGE RESERVE 1975
RIPE APRICOTS, FULL BODIED AND
CREAMY, LAYERS OF SPICE, FRUITY SWEETNESS AND VANILLA
ABV 53.4%, 70CL
Whisky’s tourism industry began here at Glenfiddich. We were the first Distillery to open our doors and welcome the public in.
40 years later, we invited a panel of our expert tour guides past and present to choose an excellent 2009 Vintage Reserve shortlisted by our Malt Master. After intense decision-making Cask 22000, a 33 year old European Oak Sherry Butt from 1975, was chosen.
Inside a whisky with layer after layer of rich aroma and flavour unravels into an incredibly long finish.

tasting notes
GLENFIDDICH Vintage Reserve 1975
Colour
Red Amber.
Nose
A rich, vibrant aroma. Beautiful ripe apricots and plums combine with dates, raisins and sultanas. Vanilla oak notes envelop these aromas creating a wonderful, balanced and intense experience.
Taste
Incredibly full bodied with layers of tannin, spice and fruity sweetness. Rich oak and mouth coating tannin gently make way for soft vanilla and creamy smoothness. After a few minutes spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and spiced apple develop.
Finish
Exceptionally long, rich and oaky with a hint of bitter dark chocolate.
