Ding Jie is always interested in abstract and concrete substance of an entity. Her former works is about artistic creation that is surrounded with certain basic crux that keeps her pondering, e.g. what is an art? What isn’t an art? What is a creation and what is not? Who is an author? Who is the audience? Everytime it comes out with the discovery of critical compound state that is more thought-provoking than the clear label. this time in Scotland, an ancient castle will be her creation object. She is going to establish a scene, thereof superimposes its past and present, dreams and reality, that will evoke a complete understanding of an entity.
